Webcam is usually used for Video call but here is a cool program (Barcode Monster) for reading barcodes by using webcam. It can also read Arabic numbers just like you and me. It is also fluent into Roman Numerals and "Counting rods" used in ancient China. How cool is that! Barcode Monster works with any webcam that supports resolution of 320x240 and 15 frames per second.It can read standard 1D barcodes. 2D barcode may be added in the future.
